Our Products
Torotel is proud to offer the following parts to our clients:
• Transformers – single, 3-phase, current, RF, audio and switch mode
• Inductors – tight tolerance signal processing, common mode, differential mode, filter, chokes and air coils
• Electromechanical assemblies

Products are primarily designed around MIL-PRF-27 grades 4, 5 and 6 reliability and can be produced to a black box specification or recipe design. Units can be manufactured to RoHS compliance upon request.

Commercial products for various applications such as down hole instrumentation, alarm systems and medical electronics are also available.

Our Capabilities
Our products are typically designed within the following guidelines:
• A frequency range of 50 Hz to 250 Mhz (impedance testing up to 1 Ghz)
• A 3 KVA maximum power rating, with 100 amps max / 3000 volts max
• Temperature limits ranging from -70°C through 200°C

Our Packaging
Torotel offers three kinds of packaging for our products: hermetically sealed, encapsulated, and open construction.
• Hermetically sealed inductors and transformers are hydroscopically shielded from external environments and offer maximum stability.
• Encapsulated products offer protection, dimensional stability and physical strength even in demanding environmental conditions. They are suitable for most applications.
• Our open construction toroids are a cost-effective approach for commercial clients.

Torotel products are offered predominately in surface mount, through hole and flexible lead wires, with alternate types of terminations available.
