Molded

Since 1956, Torotel has been producing a high-quality line of molded inductors that are practically impervious to harsh environmental conditions. Our units are molded in a thermal set material and can be produced down to tight tolerance inductors (1 % of the inductance value).

These toroids are used in avionics systems, control circuits and down hole instrumentation packets and are designed to be used where point-to-point wiring is desired.

Our molded inductors have manned space applications such as the Gemini Abort Sensor, Apollo Command Capsule and Lunar Excursions Modules. Because of the rugged characteristics of this packaging style, they can also be found in both avionics equipment and underwater sonar programs.
